The painful wait is over: we now know what Kris Humphries had engraved inside the 20.5-carat, $2 million engagement ring he gave to Kim Kardashian. The basketball player had two Bible verses inscribed inside the cavernous ring.
"It's engraved, with two things from the Bible," Humphries told People. "There's one verse [Proverbs 31: 10-31] about the perfect godly woman... The other, [1 John 3:18] is about love. It took me... a few days to pick them out and research the perfect ones." While we don't know exactly what's on the rings, the Proverbs verse begins (in King James translation), "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil," while the John reads, "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
