Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson have decided to enter a new venture together that will reach an even younger fan base. The pop singer and her younger sister are creating a new apparel line for ‘tweens’ that will be a part of the Jessica Simpson Collection. Debuting this fall the line will include sportswear, denim, and active wear that will reflect the designers’ personal styles. “Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand,” Jessica, 30, says. “I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”
Stores all over the country will feature knit tops, pullovers, graphic t-shirts, footwear, and outerwear from the collection.
Simpson’s fashion empire is already set to reach more than $1 billion in revenue by the end of the year. Gotta say, Jessica may be known as one of the ditsiest chicks in the game but she is a genius when it comes to collecting that paper!
