2011 July product recalls- July product recalls. Toys, drugs & a salad topping were among the products deemed unsafe.

Consumer products

Chanel recalled about 154 silk scarves, dresses, skirts and blouses because they failed to meet this standard for wearing apparel.

Chanel recall $430 to $3,650
Chanel, Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall for 120 silk scarves and 34 garments, due to a violation of Federal Flammability Standard.
The recall includes scarves, dresses, skirts and blouses made of 100 percent silk that were manufactured in France or Italy and sold in Chanel Boutiques, Neiman Marcus and Maxfield stores for $430 to $3,650 in March and April 2010.

About 800 Uvex Funride Ski Helmets due to possible head injury hazard.

The helmet is sold in black, white, and silver or with a carbon look matte in white or black. It was also sold with a golden flower decal on a white or black background.
They were sold from January 2009 through April 2011 for $99. They were imported by Uvex Sports of Cranston, R.I., and Swix Sport of Haverhill, Mass.

Evergreen Fresh Sprouts recalled its alfalfa and spicy sprouts after they were linked to a multistate outbreak.

A major chain retailer recalled approximately 13,000 Circo children's task lamps sold from January to April.
